Rosa Hofgärtner
Biography
Rosa Hofgärtner is a PhD researcher in the Sustainable Transformations and Wellbeing Chair.
Building on pluriversal studies and STS, the chair reflects on the role of universities in facing the vast socio-environmental challenges of today. By focusing on water bodies, Rosa wants to explore how alternative ways of relating to more-than-humans can help to rethink and reshape dominant knowledge production systems.
Rosa has an interdisciplinary background in environmental politics, social geography and environmental science. She worked as a policy-oriented researcher at HIVA KU Leuven for several years.
