Building Natural Stories
What if powerful stories could shift the narrative, and with it, construction practices?
Because we believe in the power of storytelling, Building Natural Stories collects narratives that connect natural construction materials and human experiences.
In the face of the environmental burdens caused by conventional materials, natural construction materials such as hemp and loam offer promising alternatives, yet they remain largely unknown. So, what if powerful stories could shift the narrative, and with it, the practices that shape our built environment?
Through six audiovisual portraits that bring together diverse perspectives, from farmers to facility managers, Building Natural Stories aims to explore how storytelling can drive systemic change.
Each story has a dual purpose:
- to engage at an individual level
- to provide insight into broader system dynamics.
By producing stories that are both accurate and emotionally powerful, we contribute to the accumulation of collective wisdom regarding regenerative construction.
