Emilie Jacquart is a PhD Student at the Decarbonisation and Finance Chair.
Her research examines how private financial actors make investment decisions in decarbonisation when facing heightened uncertainty. She focuses on how changing perceptions of risk and return shape private investors’ capacity and willingness to support the transition to a low‑carbon economy.
Emilie holds a Master’s degree in Management of Social and Sustainable Enterprises from ULiège. Before joining academia, she worked in the food aid sector, an experience that continues to inform her interest in the intersections between finance, inequality, and climate justice.
